VTDark chapter 31 . 9/30/2011 This was a very interesting read and I like it very much. So happy for Jen to find her Gray in the real world! Thanks for sharing! :) |
Felix02 chapter 10 . 9/15/2011 First off, this story is wonderful and frustrating - thank you for writing it (though I just finished chapter 9). Your character is...well, amazing. I both adore and hate her. I find her annoying yet endearing. She is both weak and strong; realistic yet silly. It's her that I find most frustrating, but her reactions, what some may percieve as weak and silly, make her a well rounded character and extremely human. At times, I find myself wanting to slap her and yell "Get your shit together," "Go to Gray" (though I can forgive her for that because even if she doesn't think about it I would have a hard time forgetting her slapped me...but I guess he did what he had to do...I guess...). Or yelling at her about how the prince really isn't a great guy. He may be kind to her, but look at how he treats his people? His fiance ran away from him! But I guess she has more on her mind than that so it's understandable. Still, that would be a little off putting. Anyway, your character is great. She is REAL. Thank you. |
BrittanyDawn127 chapter 31 . 9/3/2011 I love this story! It's one of the best I've ever read.. I couldn't stop reading it! :) |
exstarr chapter 31 . 8/24/2011 Phenonomenal story! I couldn't stop reading. |
taintedLullaby chapter 1 . 8/6/2011 So I was rereading the reviews I have written for various stories and I noticed that in my last review I didn't give you much praise for the amazing job you did. Even though the plot wasn't the most original one there was (not saying it is overused or anything either) it was by far the best take on the whole person from the present goes back in time and I liked how you took that concept and turned it into your own story by adding twists like her supposedly getting sucked into a book. I found this story really captivating and fun to read. The dialogue was strong and the characters lovable and easy to connect to. In all honesty I wish more people wrote stories like yours. I love the whole medieval times and supernatural aspects (not sure if that period is actually the medieval times but I'm too tired at the moment to find out so I'm just gonna say that). Once again, really good job on the story. :) |
Lyma chapter 31 . 7/8/2011 That was AWESOME! Like, effing GENIUS! I loved every single bit, you're such an amazing writer. But I felt that the ending was kinda sad, in a way. I mean, it was unexpected, and made sense, but I really wished she could go back to Delbrook and be with Gray. I mean, after all they went through together. Gray stole my heart. It was so sad to see him go :( But still, I love Matt :D But maybe you could've included a longer epilogue, with more Jen/Matt moments, to show the readers how he is so much like Gray etc. But anyway, just some thoughts, but this was seriously epic. Like, woman, you should get a medal or something for this :) I hope you would publish this one day :) |
Asheley chapter 31 . 6/15/2011 I love Arranged, and I needed something to fill the gap in between new chapters being uploaded so I decided to check this out. At first I was skeptical it would be as good as Arranged. I was wrong. This story was breathtakingly FANTASTIC! I planned to read the first chapter when I found this story this afternoon. Its now 7:30 at night and I have realized I haven't gotten up since I started it. GREAT! You have a lot of talent; I literally felt sad when Jen was stuck in the castle, away from Gray. I just finished it and Its honestly the most refreshingly different book Ive read in a while, such a cute story :) I love the interesting plot parallel between the "story" and the "real world". Just wanted to let you know my thoughts.. Good luck with your other projects :) |
The Imagination Addict chapter 31 . 5/30/2011 hmm ive enjoyed ur story but i don't really like the ending. i can see where ur coming from as a writer, but this ending just doesn't have the feel-good factor. since this story falls under the fantasy genre, u have the license to have a magical ending. unfortunately, i cant suggest any viable alternatives. if u have just gray join her in the real world, then the rebels in delbrook may be in trouble since gray is a leader n a fighter. the ending u've chosen to have has a sense of realism yet wonder, but it still lacks the YAY feeling, if u know what i mean. the entire romance sort of falls flat now that she has to work out a new relationship with a gray lookalike. |
The Imagination Addict chapter 10 . 5/26/2011 i dont know if ur request for feedback still stands for this story, but here's some from me: ur characters are kinda unrealistic. on the bright side, ur plot kinda has me hooked. :) |
drats chapter 31 . 4/28/2011 I loved your story! it was amazing. as well oh-so-dramatic. The only things I can point out for improvement, is the part where Jen realises that she must be inside the book is too sudden and rushed, it would help tonnes if you just put a paragraph before that of her coming to that conclusion. And the Epilogue was rushed as well, but I can't say exactly how it could be better. Maybe have a longer scene of her and Matt together at the end? Yeah, I don't know. Okay, thanks for writing an amazing story! :) |
angelic123 chapter 31 . 4/22/2011 Good god, this story was enchanting. I actually signed up for fictionpress just to review. LOL. To be honest, I read the entire story 3 weeks ago..but I guess I still want to leave an encouraging message :) From what I remember (and my memory isn't great...but it must mean your story's quite memorable!): Your characters were well portrayed and they stayed true to who they were throughout the fic. I liked that. The plot was quite original too...and I'm glad the prince hadn't turned out to be the type of prince we had initially thought of him to be...because Gray is absolutely amazing and sweet. :D I remember getting really frustrated with Jen because she was very insistent that the prince was her true love...LOL...but hey. That's how you keep readers reading. Thanks for gracing us with such an original idea. :P I'd love to read more of your work. Keep on writing! :D |
evelyn chapter 31 . 4/18/2011 fushigi yuugi! miaka/tamahome a.k.a taka! |
IridescentMonkee chapter 31 . 4/16/2011 Cool, would have been awesome if Gray was sucked into the real world too but I liked this twist, I wonder if she'll ever meet Demetrie...-shudder- nice story :) |
SweetSarah2 chapter 31 . 4/9/2011 Awesome. I still kinda wish she'd goon back to Delbrook but hey, this was an amazing ending. I love this story and at some point or another I'll probably read Comforting Darkness. But don't hold your breath because I'm the Queen of procrastination. I'd feel great if you checked out my story Fireworks. XD. Anyways, amazing story. There were still a few typos but you can't help that. Keep up the great works because I think this story is totally publishable. Love it. Love it. Love it! XD |
SweetSarah2 chapter 30 . 4/9/2011 Yay! It's Gray! I still wish she had gone back to Delbrook but this is an ok secound. xD |
