Aw, how heartbreaking. It reminds me a lot of my childhood - i was similarly a pretty awkward kid. I loved the line "He made the mistake of revealing that sometimes he would forget to breath and remember only when his chest was aching and his heart was pounding." I enjoyed reading this.
