DuchessYappingDog chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
Hey hey, I go to BU... It's a good school! I thought you meant he was going to go to an uberly bad school, but that's just mean. I mean it's not Harvard... but it's certainly not a bad school!

:D
Damned to heaven chapter 1 . 8/28/2010
ZI love Gigi, she definitely isn't your typical expected blonde.

I love how different yet similar they are.

Great story.
NeitherNora chapter 1 . 7/24/2010
Nice job! All around, really. The characters were quirky and lovable, and the plot managed a nice balance of funny and predictable. I liked how you began it in medias res - always a good technique - and the narrative was solid. The omission of any details about Cade's mother's absence adds a nice depth, too. The only actual complaint I have is that you have the occasional unnecessary comma, but that's pretty minor. So yay! Well-written and enjoyable.
Kyllex chapter 1 . 7/10/2010
Why am I just now reading this?

Seriously though: you. are. amazing. I just love your writing style. Everything you write has so much emotion and personality and it's fantastic! You make me feel like I'm living the story. You're that good.

This is just as awesome, if not more, than all your other stuff. I love the length, too. It gives you time to really connect with the characters. Speaking of the characters, I absolutely love Cade and how REAL he is. I love how he's not this perfect wonderful boy like we see so much of on fictionpress. I love how he's a slacker, and a smoker, and comes from a broken family, and yet Gigi can't seem to stay away. Gigi is golden as well - especially her name.

But yes. This was wonderful. And I can't really think of any more words to do it justice. I just loved it! Quite possibly one of the best oneshots out there. (:
jennycraig10 chapter 1 . 5/31/2010
Beautiful oneshot.
pirate skittles chapter 1 . 5/30/2010
i haven't finished the story yet, and already i added this to my favorites. :) there's just something about the line: "The muffins, it turned out, were lemon-poppyseed (a flavor he hated), undercooked (when he liked things burnt to a crisp), and he ate every one, leaning out his window, blazing." that had a great impact to me.

i just... i just love it, man! it's really solid. :)
Forever Elusive chapter 1 . 1/6/2010
This was absolutely wonderful. I almost feel like I've read a full-length novel, just because I feel like I know the characters so well, even though we don't really know *that* much about them. That, my dear, takes talent, and you most certainly have it.
growing-up chapter 1 . 12/21/2009
This is amazing.
Lullaby Street chapter 1 . 12/15/2009
I simply loved it. Drank it all up and was completely satisfied! It was wonderful. (But then again, aren't most of your stories...so what more should I have expected, right? That's why, even though you have main and very-much-in-need-of-updates stories, i don't mind these little ones in between because they're all very good.)

I'm confused about how I feel, cause I know I disliked Cade but loved him nonetheless. Same with Gigi, though she's a more likeable character. However, they were perfect.

and that right there, my friend, is what I love about your stories. You could write from a dog's perspective, or even a lizard, and I would feel that they were completely in character and that that is truly how a dog/lizard would act in real life. You get so into your characters I guess that you make such a profound connection with them and you're able to write them so well, as if you were truly them and this was just a retelling of your day's events or whatever...and I LOVE that bout your writing.

So, now you know that if you ever write a story from a dog's, or even a lizard's, perspective you will have someone who will undoubtedly love it because everything you write is so well.

Oh but I do have to tell you, I'm quite positive that there were a few, very few, spelling mistakes. But, no, I was too lazy to remember or even write them down for you because, well, I have homework...simple as that.

So, ima be putting up a little weird one-shot, or perhaps its called a drabble idk, and when I do I was wondering if you could be so kind as to review it. I've been told by my friendly-writing-helper that it will get lots of criticism, probably constructive, so don't think I'm not prepared for it if you do have any.

Have a good one.

~Andy

p.s. at some point during this review, I wanted to write, but forgot to, that I guess the reason why you feel the need to write new stories or one-shots when you already have other stories to work on is because, as I do believe I mentioned before, you have a way of connecting with your characters so well...and I am sure, seeing as how you are such a great author and writer, that this is why you feel compelled to write them down, because you connect with these characters even when they are just ideas in your head. I just thought I should let you know that I came upon that realization when in some author's note you wrote that your mind told you not to but you had to write new stuff anyways, just had to. There. Now I'm done. bye bye.

p.p.s. wait, no I'm not...I forgot to say that I liked Nellie very much as well. bye bye now.
