Cant wait for the next update

So when I woke up yesterday and saw the update, I almost screamed for joy. But it was 4:20 in the morning and my siblings wouldn't of been very happy with me, haha. So between my very long work and from the time I eventually got up today I reread all the chapters. Sad that it was shortish, but so happy you are updating it that it didn't really matter! I can not wait for more!

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to see this chapter. I was certain you had given up on this story. I am definitely pleasantly surprised to see more of it and hopeful that you will continue to write it.

The chapter was good. I like that Griffin turns away even though he knows that it isn't right. I like that he is still flawed enough to do that. I also like that at the first sign something isn't right he doesn't dig deeper into his disappointment and instead turns around and does what is right. I'm interested to see why Sera thinks she wasn't honest with him.

I wasn't expecting to like this story so much. Brier Wood and Gentlemen Ain't in Season were okay, but this, this feels much more mature. Your writing has improved a lot during the years, honestly.

I felt emotionally invested with both Griffin and Sera from the very beginning, despite (or maybe because of) how detached they are. Their lack of communication was killing up until chapter 15 or so, how they sort of wanted to be with each other but they were too scared. And to some extent they still want different things, I guess, at least superficially (I think deep down Sera does want to be with Griffin the same way he wants to be with her, and I think she knows it, too). I'm actually quite glad the last three chapters happened and you didn't leave us with an unfinished story full of unresolved sexual tension. Also, to me it seems like a really big step form them that Sera didn't run after everything and that Griffin gave in to his feelings and all.

Oh, yes, I almost forgot. Something that caught my attention (style-wise) was how you revealed their pasts: you just gradually mentioned parts of it without making a big deal about it or anything, unlike in, say, Brier Wood, for example. It's like there's no build-up to them, but once you know them they totally make sense with how they behave and everything. Although it really was better that you left the most emotionally heavy stuff for their afterglow conversations. I don't know if you get what I mean...

I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but oh well. Here's hoping that you'll update this someday, especially now that we have that idiot Acen to deal with.
