I really liked this free verse! I liked it for several reasons, one being the formatting, which I think structured everything in a way I don't often see free verse-all the lines are similar length and it just looks really nice. I also of course, loved the meaning of the poem and the message, the last line tied everything together and I like how you seemed to mythologize the reader of stories-and then I think my favorite line was the Shakespeare line. That was marvelous! The images and the word wings and everything was wonderful! Well done!

I believe that the word "epic" is relevant to this poem. Specifically, a capslocked EPIC. Amazing.

Wonderful use of extended metaphor. 'Knit wings', a lovely term, and then to mention Icarus, as a 'metaphor' for the writer, very nice.
