Reviews for snippets from the halfeaten psalms
Ernest Bloom chapter 1 . 11/1/2009
yes, well, isca said it all pretty well. although a bit breezy for my tastes, or at least etherial, you've got some impressive lines in here hinting at greater things. pretty nice.
Isca chapter 1 . 10/28/2009
"And I will waste no more time." Your use of the word 'waste' here is very crafty - connecting nicely to both 'time' and the 'carnage' previously described.

"And I shall pass through no more locked doors." I don't know what it is about this line that caught my attention, but I like it very much - it's almost as if the speaker dares not enter 'the unknown' anymore.

"Never am I sacrosanct." Wow. That's a very impacting statement.

"And I shall no longer drag your memory through the valley of shadow." This line is absolutely beautiful. I love the idea that the speaker doesn't want to 'sully' this person's memory in any way.

Great work! :)
