uh oh! the suspense is building up and i feel a little uneasy too about the upcoming chapter, but i can't wait to see what happens! thanks for the update and great job as usual! :)

Wow that was a fast update. I review chapter 23 and before I even finish -BAM!- There's chapter 24 all ready for my viewing pleasure. I find myself being pretty nervous and tense for Elise. I'm afraid she's just a touch too compassionate and forgiving to survive these brushes with Marla (whom I'm also blaming for poverty, AIDS, and the National Debt). Not that she's unrealistic or anything - I find her quite realistic for a walking human-wolf - but that she's just innocent and sweet :)

Kane is angry because Marla is a dumb 'ho who is clearly behind everything that is wrong with the world. And not just your fictional universe. I'm going to start blaming the problems in Afghanistan on her, too. Someone should tell Obama.

I really enjoy your story! I just started reading it last night and have spent all of my spare time thoroughly absorbed in it. As another equally detail-oriented person, I don't find the story too descriptive. At times, I do find myself looking for a bit more, particularly concerning peoples' appearances, but I'm sure that would bore your other readers to tears. Heck, I'd even enjoy a detailed analysis of just the sort of scar adorning our fair Kane's side :) Never, ever too many details! Lol.

I also appreciate that you apparently update so quickly. I've only just discovered the story, but it's really pleasing and encouraging to know that you'll update soon in the future. I absolutely hate when I accidentally start reading a well-written story from five years ago that hasn't been updated in three. Sometimes, I wish they would let other authors finish them or just take them down.

I don't think your readers are scared of what Marla has done, but what she COULD do. Haha. Because we all want a happy, cliche story that doesn't surprise us, and the characters we like to have what we want for them. I'm joking, of course. But as for Kane freaking out...is that he's shy/embarrassed? Or is it because he doesn't like get his picture taken and didn't want anyone to know about it? Or he just doesn't think there should be a picture of a werewolf out in the world? I can't wait to find out. ]
