Ugh, this chapter made me sick to my stomach. I think I know what Marla's up to and it wouldn't shock me if Kane and her had a thing going on. Ugh! That just makes me so mad!

I've been reading this story over the last few days and I love it. Sorry for not leaving a review sooner, I was battling my midterms.

I think it's nice that Kane and Elise adjusted to each other very well. But I do feel that Elise isn't sad enough about leaving Bryan. I would assume that she loved him a lot and then having to leave him for a family duty must be really, really hard. I do like the relationship between Kane and Elise. It's cute and it's like the early stages of married life but I really want their relationship to develop more. I'm really looking forward to that.

I was kind of annoyed with Kane in this chapter. The way he discussed about Marla without listening to Elise's reasoning. It felt like he took Marla side. I have a feeling Marla is going to be bitch towards Elise again.

Anyway, thank you so much for writing. I love how much you're updating this story. :)

Gosh, I love this Story!

I can't decide who I'm more pissed off at, Kane or Elise. I think cutting off or not giving your partner a chance to explain themselves is a really bad sign in a husband or partner. Being dominant in a relationship is one thing, but asserting your control over the other person's will is completely unacceptable. I believe I've really started disliking Kane because of it.

Plus the fact that Elise acted like a weak will-less woman just makes me grind my teeth in irritation.

I'm sorry. It's just that I have a close friend who's very similar to Elise, and her boyfriend is an pompous (verbally abuse) jerk who often asserts his 'authority' just like Kane did here. The only reason I'm not as close to her anymore is because she's like a scared mouse. Which is why the behaviour of the characters in this particular chapter is something I really strongly dislike.

(I just want to see Elise get a backbone, at least when she's right)
