Shaul keeps turning up - which is definitely good. Though I do think he went from Strong And Silent to Adoring really quick. Especially in this one. When is he REALLY gonna turn up and steal the show though?

And that Poll of yours is unfair. Shaul is the eternal hero, Levi is everything you want in a man, Nolan is the awesomest, fun-est brother/best-friend to have, Dmitry is that sweet adoring guy who loves you and Nikos is that fun kid brother. WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO PICK? :)

It amuses me that Celeste knows everyone so well though. Actions can be understood, questions anticipated, emotions gaged. Even family members and extremely emotionally intelligent people have their limits don't they? I'm worried you're injecting a little too much of your knowledge as the author into Celeste in that sense.

Having said that though, it's clear that you want to show the development of relationships between characters and I love how close Celeste, Levi and Nolan have gotten! )

That made me forget anything I might have commented on. -

Curiouser and curiouser. What a thoroughly intriguing character you have spun.

When it said he had knives (or did it say blades?) I imagined something far more sinister that cutting her hair. However, it seemed just as terrible.

That is both horrific and fitting. Not sure if I like that he wrote on his face with a knife.. but it seems to be in-character, though said character seems not to be to my taste.

Shaul is a very intruiging character, but I must say I prefer Dmitriy :)

I really like the ending to this chapter.
