| DanaBN chapter 1 . 12/1/2014 You have a great concept! As a girl who was pretty naive until around 20, I really connected with Sara Belle. I'm not a fan of the introduction. It foreshadows way too much and doesn't let the reader really guess. My suggestion is start with her in class with Leah. You can get into her head there and we can learn that she has never had a relationship. Also, the title just reminds me of the movie and that's not what you want to do. Think of something that will really draw your readers. Otherwise keep writing! Your skill will develop more and more as you continue. Trust me I look back at my writing from high school and even in college and laugh. But then I go and figure out how to change it around. DBN |
