"Elastic marks that stretch across your skin like railroad tracks / & my fingers ache to run across them." I really like this opening line - the railroad track simile is quite vivid and unique.
"I will slip and fall apart." The tone of this line is marvelous and angsty.
"I'd go wherever the ground led." What a beautiful, philsophical line. :)
"There are no children here anymore." I love this final line - it's quite hard-hitting and emotional.
