I think about half way through that, I started thinking about Daniel as Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice...I have no idea how I managed to do that, but when I realized that I was doing that I kinda looked at the screen with a 0.0 expression then cracked up laughing before I continued to read...lol... good story though

THis is just to tell you that I've read the chapter and the e-mail and that I'll give you a proper, longer reply once I'm not in a hurry to catch a train.

Oh, yeah, and that I appreciated the ending. BUt more comments on that later.

last chapter I'm reading today. Shame. BUt I need to sleep if I'm to have any brains left tomorrow.

Some action then. I'm still not sure what I think of the speed of the development, though. They've just had that weird experience fuelled by weed and alcohol and then Magnus is already reading into it. And Daniel and Niklas act as if it was all normal and to be expected. I don't know. Sound a bit too fast.

Anyway... 19... My vampire story is in 19. And it has to do with the end of the new millenium thing. Any other reason to have your story taking place in 19/20?

And Magnus... I have a character named Magnus too. He is from my new story about Vikings (sort of). But he is from Denmark.

Oh, and how can I forget... RANDOM SWEDISH! D

That alone is enogh to make me like this story very much. I think I've learned quite a few useful things in this chapter...

I don't feel sorry for Jennifer. You succeeded in making her sounding like an annoying bitch. COngratulations! D

And this is it from now. I am one of those few people out there who actually go to bed at 11pm everyday, so it is 15min past my bed-time now. D Which means I should go...

I'll read the next chapter at some point in the next few days. I can't promise anything for the weekend, because I'll be either writing an essay or having fun in Edinburgh. Anyway, to the story...

I think I can sympatise with Niklas. I've been through some very similar experiences with cultural shock in here (though of course I didn't come here to take care of kids and I didn't have a crush on my boss D). But for me the best part is that you tell something about Swedish culture in there. Is Nikla's family suppose to be representative of the "traditional" family or something?

And because I'm currently reading about Nazi occupation in France for an essay (and I read about Denmark as well, just because), I had quite a laugh on the "NAzi propaganda poster" bit. Poor guy...

And you made me wonder...

HOw much of this story is based in your experiences in the UK? D (If I can ask that...)

I think there might have been some English grammar mistakes there, but it might be just be being sleepy and trying to pretend I actually know a lot about the English language.

So this is it for now. I won't promise I'll be able to read the rest soon because I have 2 essays to hand in in the next 2 weeks and a considerable amont of books and articles to read for them. NAzi occupation is mildly interesting. American Politics sucks.

Absolutey wonderful! I loved this story and enjoyed it just as much as your other stories :) What I love about your writing is that it always feels so relaxed and with ease, everything just flowing without ever feeling forces. Having written a bit of fanfiction myself I know that most of the time "with ease" is SO not the case. Beautifully done!

Absolutely lovely! Loved the ending touch with Charles and his 'bonus dad'. Daniel sounds like such a catch. :P

Don't know why, but I got so emotional in the end. I knew it would be a happy ending - it always is with you, thank god! - but your stories are always so realistic that it's always really touching and so sweet.
