|Reviews for Death's Shadow|
| Maya LeFay chapter 1 . 12/24/2013
I... i can't even. Wow. Just wow. I love the setting of this- you don't know what period it's set in, and the little aspects of Japanese culture. There needs to be more Japanese slash stories on FP. I particularly love the relationship between Shin and Fuyuki in this, and the last part almost left me in tears. Brilliant work.
| lightXdarkness chapter 1 . 10/15/2013
This story was beautifully written. I absolutely love Fuyuki. Everything about him was so tragic and so sad. From the moment he was sold as a mere child to the moment that he gets attacked by Castle's peers as revenge. My heart truly does go out for Fuyuki. As sad as this story was, you couldn't have made it more perfect. As for the ending, you left it unclear as to whether Fuyuki survived or died. He could have possibly survived seeing as he was in pain throughout the ending until he saw Shin and felt remarkably better or he could have passed away. I guess its up to us readers to decipher or estimate. X3 A sequel of the story would be highly desired and highly loved! XD
| The Infinity chapter 1 . 3/25/2013
Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
| AJmusic chapter 1 . 3/14/2013
I loved how you didn't outright say that Fuyuki died. It was a sad, slightly disturbing, but beautiful ending.
| Guest chapter 1 . 7/10/2012
I like how in the end, you didn't outright state that Shin killed Fuyuki...it feels like a happy ending to me, so I'm glad that I read this story :)
| anydayanywhere chapter 1 . 6/29/2012
This story truly strikes the heart...
I like how you made your characters so captivating as you weave them into the story. I especially love the ending, just brilliant.
| seraphofreverie chapter 1 . 1/7/2011
this story struck a chord of quiet sadness within me, like a soothing rain.
very interesting, and fun to read.
| irial chapter 1 . 5/20/2010
I sort of fell in love with Shin too. I couldn't agree more with the other reviews. I would like to know if there will be more too?
| pretensions chapter 1 . 12/21/2009
Wow. What a disturbing, darkly beautiful story. While reading, I got such a sense of atmosphere, with the beautiful language, the fascinating setting (I love kind of feudal Japan!), and the interesting characters - especially Shin, who I sort of fell in love with, and Fuyuki, who was so tragic and beautiful.
Seriously! I love this story.
| Aime Atem chapter 1 . 12/3/2009
Cool. And dark, and upsetting, and very very well done. Will there be more?
