Devilish! Clowns have always disturbed me, which is why this poem amuses me. "Phobic beauty" sounds so perfect. The vicious birds are vivid, and I love how you blended lionsandtigersandbears together. It sounds hastily spoken, and I'm pretty sure I gasped with the speaker. Bleeding eyes are disgustingly beautiful. That's a recurring image in a lot of my artwork (including the self-portrait I'm sketching for class).
