eeh i'm dying

I'm with the majority of the reviewers. I understand why he broke up with her. I don't get why she takes him back so quickly. Who's to say he won't give in to pressure again? Paula gets upset at her for being a hard ass? Umm, wow. He gets mad at her for not forgiving him right away... SHE feels bad... I don't get that part either. Everything else was really great. Well written, plot, etc. I would have the ending open - with him having to win her trust back. Even when you're in love, you can forgive them because you love them, but it takes a while to get that trust back. He did cheat on her. He broke up with her and didn't defend her and it's not clear that he will get new friends since they lied to his parents.

Oohh I was scared that she was really gonna let him go... I'm glad that it turned out this way. I don't get why people think she's a bitch.. Hmmm...

There is one thing that really rubs me the wrong way about this story. I like most of it and I think you did the best as you could with the perimetres of the contest (which was not the best contest Annoyance has held). But the things I HATE is how the characters make it Cassie's fault for not taking Landon back. He made huge mistakes and he didn't go far enough explaining why he cheated or chose Chip or just told her what was going on. Too many stories blame the chick.

Oh whoa . . . Chip is something else, that's for sure. I thought the reason he broke up was very believable for high-school age, because of the importance of approval from family and from peers. Plus, guys tend to do stupid things and don't really know how to be nice with break-ups (especially if there are still feelings there!). I loved the clown angle, especially at the end when he says he never kissed a clown. However, I didn't really think that Cass (best name ever by the way!) needed to apologize to him, she had the right to be angry for awhile. (That's probably just the self-righteous woman in me talking! _) Anyways, thanks for sharing this with us. I adored it!

Aww that was cute and put a little smile on my face. I had a mild issue with why Landon would break up with her based on parents and friends approval. I know friends approval can sometimes make or break something but the feelings he showed when he was trying to get her back kind of contradict the decision. However, it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the story and I still took it for what it was. Nice one :) x
