Uncle Steve sucks. And I once again agree with Thenutrunningthenuthouse. Steve is nowhere near as cool as Tim! We have a very similar mindset when it comes to this story. It's funny how you wanted people to hate Tim, but they ended up loving him. I'm guessing Steve's still gonna be hated by the end of this story. COULD YOU KILL HIM? You already killed Aiden's uncle. :'[ That face looks really freaky...

I have a feeling Sean's actually gonna do a good job posing as Adam. He may have that "I don't give a crap" attitude, but I see a little compassion in him. Can't wait for the next chapter! :D

I agree, aww poor Adam. I don't know about you, but you're going to have to do a lot more to make Uncle Steve as awesome as Tim. Hell, if you want to, I'd be happy to give him the Abusive Bastard Uncle award.

Thanks for the shout-out! I actually didn't plan on reading this one until I finished your other story, but curiosity got the better of me. Yeah, I think my penname came from a movie or book or something. This may seem lame, but I can't remember where I heard it, either! I just know that I heard it from somewhere and it amused me.

I really like this story. And I read Dante's Inferno! Did that whole "Satan having three heads" part give you nightmares? That and the suicide trees really freaked me out. I'm 19 and I had to read that book for MY English class last year! Go figure! And I can't figure out that whole cell phone message thing. I'm trying, but I'm drawing a blank. I'll let you know if I figure it out! I can't wait for chapter 4!

I agree with thenutrunningthenuthouse. The English scene was adorable! The Scrabble board thing was a really creative idea and I don't blame Eve for freaking out over it. Adam's really observant and Sean's still a complete sshole. You briefly mentioned something about Sean and Eve at the Parkers' house that involved a bathtub or something. I don't really know what that's about, but you should put it in! I also can't wait for that car scene you mentioned. ;] Grr, I wish you would've told me more! I'm about ready to burst from curiosity! I can't wait for another update! :D Oh yeah, and Happy Graduation Year! (because I know you're graduating in May!) Haha!

Wow I'd kill myself if my name were DawnMarie or Chastity. Just saying ;) While the funky unnatural hair thing and piercings arent me, Eve and this mysterious stranger are awesome already. Love the dialog. Totally believeable. And wow she might wanna take those flirting tips from DawnMarie!

Just a random thought I had while reading... would they have cell phones during this time? And even if cell phones were out, is it me or were they something everyone had only a few years ago? Just throwing that out there!

Anyways, interesting start. After reading FMBYG, I'm curious to see how this story twists and turns, thus bringing me add it to my favorites or whatever. I'll see what I think of Eve and "mysterious boy" who I will assume to be Adam (ps I love that name :] ). Eve's family history is very intense, however.

Only thing I'd add is I'm not 100%, but I believe when having thoughts about how they look, ex. My mom absolutely hates it, but hey, it’s my hair.

I believe, for flow's sake, it would be "My mom absolutely hated it"
