this was really good. but i felt that it ended really abruptly.

As always, your writing hooks me up from the very start.

The PTS thing has been a bit overused in other stories, but I like how you sort of downplayed it to favor character interactions, instead of focusing on it. I also liked that, even though it is a two-shot, the characters were well developed (though there was a bit of Mary Sue-ness in Jake's character).
