| simpleplan13 chapter 1 . 2/11/2011
"She was a pothead"... this is the only part in the first two paragraphs that was past tense.
You also switch back and forth tenses a lot which you might want to fix.
I did like the piece though. I thought your descriptions of her were really great and I liked your underlining and such to emphasize certain things. Well done.

| Phoebe Melinda Halliwell chapter 9 . 7/28/2010
Wow. This is powerful, but so sad...
| Phoebe Melinda Halliwell chapter 8 . 7/28/2010
Yeah, that is pretty fucked up. Especially since you felt you had to do that.
| Phoebe Melinda Halliwell chapter 7 . 7/28/2010
Great! I love this chapter!
| Isca chapter 8 . 7/14/2010
And the circle of abuse continues...
"I would do anything for a friend,
and suffering was easy."
The angst here is palpable. The speaker is obviously very loyal [perhaps to the point of insanity]. She has experienced suffering and finds it an easy sacrifice for a friend in need. I find that both fascinating and saddening. The speaker deserves a better friend than that.
My favourite line: "Nobody knows how fucked up I really am." The tone is perfect.

"Do not punish me. I can do it myself."
That line essentially summarizes
the conclusion I got from this entry.
It is a conclusion I can very well relate to.

| Phoebe Melinda Halliwell chapter 3 . 2/12/2010
Great! I love this! There's so much detail and background in this story. It's so sad, yet so moving...
| Isca chapter 3 . 2/9/2010
"Her kindergarten teacher said she often seemed never one hundred percent there." That's exactly how my primary school teachers felt about me too.
"That's when she realized she was born without wings." What a profound moment that would have been; such a sad realization too, poor girl.
"She saw a lamb get flayed." God, what a startling image.
"At four, he molested her." Sometimes I just really hate people (and this is why: child abusers). You were strong to write about this hun. *Hug*
| Isca chapter 2 . 2/9/2010
"She sang." I love this - as if music was innate and was her 'real' language.
"Family portraits can lie." Yeah, isn't THAT the truth lol.
