Yeah! You’re back! I missed this story. I was worried that you wouldn’t post the end and then I’d have to sit here, wondering what happened between them…or start making up my own ending ;) But I understand how hectic life can be. No worries.

I’m cautiously optimistic that they’re both on the same page now. I don’t know though…they can both flip-flop so fast. Plus – New York – what happened that made Jack just ditch her? I’m dying to know. I’m looking forward to the upcoming confrontations!

Oh my god. Oh. My. God! I think I said that so many times during this chapter that my two year old is now repeating it! :D Seriously, I need a minute here.

Whew! First – Clark is brilliant! I sort of love him. Good thing he really is a nice guy, because if he ever turns to the dark side – watch out! The whole, ‘tell Kate and we can be together…oh, and by the way it will also destroy whatever you have with Jack because he will HATE you’, that was so good. Little did Clark know that Jack would take it better than he thought; me too for that matter, and Lexi – we’re all shocked!

And then…she still lied to Clark? They’ve been sleeping together the whole time? Sneaky writer you, I totally believed what she told Clark. Then again, I knew they had no restraint! Ha! But poor, almost understanding Kate…I can’t believe she was a virgin. Wow, great addition there.

And lastly, he finally said he loved her…and completely too late. Sigh…I’m in angst heaven. I completely need to reread this, since I get Jack a little more now. Great chapter! Thank you and I’ll need another fix soon! ;)

I don't usually take the time to review that often, but I really wanted to let you know what a great job I think you are doing so far with with this story. I've been reading stories on fictionpress and fanfiction for a longg time now and coming across an exceptionally written story is (unfortunately) few and far between. You have a true talent with dialogue and conveying emotion with your words. Your characterization is spot on and there is a sense of uneasiness and mystery in the plot that keeps it exciting and fresh. It's truly a shame more people don't follow this story. It really is brilliantly done. I'll be looking forward to the next update and will try to review more often because, honestly, you deserve a whole lot more reviews than you have. Well done!

Ah, what a great chapter! I don’t know why, but I was expecting a disaster of a date. How nice that he could actually pull it off! Shoot, now I really like him…and Jack is still such a conniving little ass. Hm, now I’m torn. Jack is only worthy if he grows up…and fast, but Ramsey’s already there. Hm…this birthday party is going to be interesting. Can’t wait!

What? No, no, no. I need to hear him say he didn’t say a word. He didn’t, right? That was all Clark trapping her into a confession….so brilliant on his part. Ugh, this chapter…so worth the wait. I was irked at first that they both were still with their significants, but then surprised that they weren’t having sex. Wow, Jack…having restraint? Or her for that matter. ;) Then the so sweet and tender kiss…sigh…and then it didn’t go anywhere which just made it more heartbreaking. Then…the confrontation. Ugh, I was so nervous for her and feeling bad for Clark. He’s such a good guy. I hope he ends up with a good girl after the fallout. And now…why do I have the feeling Lexi is about to break Jack’s heart…and her own. Great job! Oh, and I got a little disoriented with the texting conversation while talking conversation. I kept having to look at it twice (oh, that one is in italics…that’s Jack). Of course…that may have more to do with my massive cold than anything else. ;)

That little hypocritical bastard! She can’t kiss Ramsey after he openly makes out with his girlfriend in front of her – Jackass! Still love him though, and want him with her…but only if he grows up. But, given the title of the book, I’m assuming that’s gonna take a bit longer ;). Great chapter! I like her with Ramsey…for now. I am glad they didn’t sleep together though.

I know what you mean about FP. I was trying to upload a new chapter for about a day and a half…and getting very frustrated in the process. Thankfully, everything seems back to normal.

I wouldn't say I'm angry at Jack - more like disgusted with him. I really think that he's a class A jerk and doesn't deserve Lexi at all. I hope that Ramsey will work out better for her! :)

I think your story is great! And I can't decide which storyline I'm more curious to read about, the past or the present. Therefore it's good that you alternate between both plots. Anyway, it's very well written and I really feel with Lexi. Hope there'll be an update soon! :)

i hate that she is cheating

I’ve been so looking forward to another “past” chapter! And this one did not disappoint! Things are getting messier…I love it. I have to mention that I really love how you switch between past and present. That can be a tricky thing to do, but you really pull it off well. I also really love the song lyrics at the start of each chapter. That’s a nice little touch.

And this chapter…oh, I knew things were not going to be as “friendly” as she’d hoped, but wow, I wasn’t sure if they’d go all the way or not. Sigh. It doesn’t work out though. One of them won’t leave their significant. I wonder which one… Can’t wait!
