This is beautiful- really love that last stanza!
| Little girl Big world chapter 1 . 1/2/2010
"the broken glass hurts less than words left unspoken?
when the innocence is peeling off my heart in scabs"
"the weight & shape of sorrow erupting from someplace
down inside my throat where memories are stored"
"just parcel off your soul to where they say
you ought to be, and in the end you can't even tell
if you've lost or if you've won"
These lines are amazing & will stick with me for quite some time.
The emotion was portrayed clearly & in the most beautiful way.
Wonderful writing as always!

Your writing is beautiful. Lovely piece with great descriptions. The third stanza is really good. 'why is it the broken glass hurts less than words left unspoken' This is deep and relatable. I also like the simile of wanting you like the sun. The last bit is great! Love it! :D

I don't know if I have conveyed to you how much I enjoy reading your work. everything is so original and you combine emotion with honesty and beautiful descriptions, and I can relate to what you write about very easily. that's why I love it.
this poem is amazing. I love the references to the sun.

"The happiness spilling through the cracks in my bones." Excellent. Your pairing of joy and age/death here is quite lovely.
"The weight and shape of sorrow." Stunning. Mind-blowing.
