First off, awesome that you're studying abroad. I'm actually in the Meditteranaean right now on a cruise with my family, and we're spending the next two days in Rome. Going abroad is an awesome experience. I almost applied to go to England or Scotland to actually study for the summer, but then I chickened out, lol. Secondly, good for you that you are going to follow your dream and passion. That takes guts; I mean writing is such a cut throat world, but you go for giving it your best shot! :D We actually have a future dream in common. I'm studying to be a high school English teacher, myself, and hope to write someday on the side. However, you're already way ahead of me in that goal considering I haven't even tried writing on this site yet even though I have an idea for a story. But, my laziness has kept from ever actually acting on that yet. However, I am going to make an effort by taking Creative Writing next semester, which I'm totally psyched about. But, I'm getting really side tracked right now. I hope you enjoy the remainder of your time abroad! I can't wait to hear more from Luce and Lily! Good luck with what the future brings you! Although, it might be a little better to have it spread out. How you had it this chapter was fine though, I think. And if you were talking about the general warrior who was greatly respected because he fought on the front lines then yes I did pick up on that hint, but if you were referring to something else then I didn't pick up on it :)

I do think you're right about the closeness between Lilith and Alec. But I've been wondering for a while now if Lilith isn't really related to Alec and Candace. And also, if Alec has his eye set on Lilith because he either knows or doesn't know that they aren't blood related? Either way I remain your loyal fan! (even though it's been a couple months since I've been on fictionpress)

Just for a little reminder, in this chapter you said Lily had never been farther than Stoneham, but in Chapter 2 of The Slave of Heaven, you said Lily had been to New York City once. your story is phenomenal it puts most of the published books iv read to shame you have a way of drawing the reader into the story and connecting them with the characters. The thing i really love is that your story has refrained from venturing into the cliched supernatural romance stories that so many authors end up writing, all your details the history, culture,clothing,food, the characters mannerisms along with your enthralling plot line have me hook line and sinker! i love this story and i eagerly await your next update

I think Masau'u is Lucien, during the part about warriors and diplomats I kept remembering the blood hunt the discription of the vamp/hunters, and then after when Lily was taken inside the castle and the aristocrats, before Lucien had to bite her. I like Prof. Waldgrave (if he was't all blood-gitarian I would so donate to him) I love his questions and his smirk in respose to aislynns comment! ha ha

I hate to complain but Lily has these all most melt down moments and I keep wondering where is her trusty Aislyn ? I sorta wish they where more buddy buddy.

I am I the only one that is picking up a borderline incestous vibe fr/ Lilys brother? or is that normal over protective nephiliem brotherly behavior? dispite lilys paniced moments she really is starting to assert herself more gaining confidence and strength, I almost wish she would snap on some body home and refuse to marry.

Ok last thing about your shifting social classis worries, that kind of detail is essiential considering all the nephiliem culture in lilys backround all that stuff with the clothes, rituals when one reads about her home life one is immersed in another world so It is highly interesting to be w/ lily while she gains perspective about vamps and Lucien in her Vamp classes. I get sucked into it too I love the balence of them Lucien/lily the caotic,roughness of his reality and the suffering formality in hers. I am glad lucien can shake her up a bit she needs that, his sillyness his ability to uncover her true self. So thanks for this story I have never reviewed for you before, hope this helps.
