i love them but their relationship is so fucked up. Like they never really sorted anything out...cal gets mad about something and then later, it's like forgotten and never was resolved

Ok I read this over again. And the Callen character is pretty annoying at times. She over reacts and is way too possesive. If you have a relationship with someone like she does with Maddie, acting possesive of someone like that is not cute. And to automatically not like any girl that comes around, is ridiculous.

But I'm not agreeing with other reviewers saying she doesn't deserve Nate. He says he "loves" her and goes and sleeps with other people? People who "love" you wouldn't do that. And yes I know they weren't "together" yet. But still.. And she just forgives way too easily and just gave it up easily too.

Both have their faults.. But goodness I wish I could see Callen actually grow more. She seems so immature. I would not want to be around her.

Okay, so it's been a little while since I've read this, and I wanted to see if my tolerance level for Callen had gotten any higher. I was doing alright up until this chapter. I didn't even really have anything that I felt the burning desire to review about UP UNTIL THIS CHAPTER. Anyway, I know that, in the past, I've said that I like Callen, and the fact of the matter is, I might have been lying. Callen is a bitch, she's irritating, and she doesn't deserve all of the amazing friends that she has. She's been that way throughout the entire story, and sometimes I just had to step back and wonder what the fuck her problem was, but the straw that really broke the camel's back for me was when she yelled at Brighten in this chapter. She had no right to speak to him that way, and if I were Nate, I would've dumped her ass right then and there. Well, actually I would have dumped her long before then, but that's beside the point. Nate is an amazing guy, who had admittedly done some not so amazing guy things throughout this story, and Callen does not deserve a guy like him. That being said, I truly love the pair of them together, so I guess I'll just have to get over how terrible she is to him (and everyone else around her). From all of this ranting about how much I hate the main character, you would think that I hate the story, but I actually really love it. The fact that I have this strong of an emotional response to her means that you've sucked me into this story, and that is the sign of a great writer who's telling a great story. So, I'd like to thank you for sharing a story that truly sucks me in, and I'd also like to commend you on a job well done. You are a fantastic writer. I hope that none of this review offends you, because that's the last thing I set out to do. Again, thank you for a wonderful story. Later.

Wow, does she have any self-respect at all? I get they're passionate and volatile and all, but it seems like she upgraded from a popular abusive asshole to a rockstar abusive asshole. They've CLEARLY got issues. And I seriously can't respect a girl that gets into bed with a guy -with the intent to have sex or no- within 24 hours of him having a foursome.

Haha I'm sure its been told but Callen's personality is too much to handle. I would not want to be friends with her with the way she handles everything and she treats Nate like crap (and if a guy like Nate existed I'd fucking keep him but hey he's fictional- damn.) but yeah...I can't stand her anymore. It was a great run though. Just too much bitchness flowing from the girl for me to enjoy. I did not see much of a good side to her sides loving animals. and thats only cuse I hated seeing this puppy die at the vet :( and I was just there for a school project. But I digress.

If I ever feel like reading I'll come back and finish up but other than that have a nice day :).
