I love the shortness and simplicity of it. Other poets just drag the poem on and on... A few do it well, others just don't do it right. This poem has a good story in it, and you were able to tell it in a few lines, making it stronger by doing so. I think I would rate this one, honestly, a 9.

wow! very good! i love reading and hearing things about the people who protect us and this beautiful country we live in. I have several people in my family who have gone to protect our country and are recognized but you brought the story to the people who are heros everyday in our lives. you should hear my favorite song ever! it is call "song for an unsung hero" it is all about the heros of everyday life and how they arent given as much credit as they should be.
