The only problem with reading this story is that it ruins other books for me. I'm talking about actual published books. I just spent a half hour browsing on Amazon, and I couldn't find one thing to read. Nothing appealed to me, because it just couldn't compare to Alys and Hayden. So I just keep coming back to reread this story.

I'm reminded again of how unique this story is. I've read so many romances that I can usually guess how it will turn out, but not with this one. I'm very anxious to know Hayden's side of the story now. So many mysteries that are still unsolved. I really love the pace of this story. It perfectly builds the anticipation for everything, not just for the romance. Everything in this story matters. In a lot of romances I get bored with all the other stuff that's going on and just skim to the kissing scenes. Not in this one. I want to know everything about Alys and everything about Hayden. That means that you have the ability to write an interesting story, no matter what it's about.

This part of what I want to tell you is hard to convey, but I will try. I'm so excited about Alys's thoughts! I've never experienced this before while reading a romance story. It's always the excitement and anticipation for the physical stuff between them. I'm not into all the feelings, and I tend to roll my eyes at all the lovey dovey stuff. Yet here I am getting excited about Alys thinking that she likes him. That is amazing in this story, because there has been none of it yet. Unlike in most romances, she hasn't spent her time thinking about him in that way at all, and that has made this development so exciting.

I'm always, always impatient to get to the end of a story and know how everything turns out. Not this one though. I never want this story to end. It's just too interesting, and I don't want to say goodbye to these characters.

So much intrigue!

I feel like this is a birthday present for me. And there will be another chapter soon! I still love this story just as much as when I first found it. Your patience in writing it so painstakingly pays off in the excellence of every chapter. This is like an advanced writing course for all of us that put out mediocre work. Slow down and write with care is the lesson. I can't believe that on top of all that you've taken the time to go back and rewrite older chapters. I'm definitely going to reread the entire story from the beginning.

I love Alys and her manic, intense thoughts. We all have constant inner dialogue, but so few writers can convey the complexity and scope of our mental landscapes. They are composed not just of thoughts but also of images. Alys's comes alive on the page and is just as vibrant and full as her real world landscape. Most of us can't even fully describe what is seen and heard as well as you can what is thought and imagined.

I felt for Ms. Lexington in this chapter, and she is the first adult in this story that I have sympathized with. I'm still excited about the mural though and the reaction to it when it's unveiled. And what a teaser your note is! So curious about the bad thing to be revealed.

This story is absolutely surreal and I'm officially addicted! I will be honest, I was skeptical in the first couple chapters. It felt to me like yet another generic "popular boy falls in love with bullied little miss nobody" but as the story developed, the characters began to reveal themselves more and I found myself falling in love with all of them and their twisted ways, even the characters like Ashley and Shannon. Although definitely despicable people, I had a deep admiration for their portrayal and how well they were written to show the true viciousness of high school girls. I adored Hayden from the moment he was introduced, and Alys is amazing and I love how you've written her. You're and absolutely fantastic author and I eagerly await your next chapter, happy writing!

Hey, I spent literally half my day wolfing down your last chapters as I really can't pull myself away! I loved your story up to this point, the characters are well-made and the plot has just the right amount of darkness without being overly dramatic. To be honest I didn't think that her past would be so harsh. But that aside, I never hated Hayden, I believe that he's very well-built as a character and the most interesting out of them all. I hope you update cause I'm dying to read more.
