Impressive for a one-shot. I could almost visualize the setting and Ash and Christopher in my mind. Your use of symbolism and metaphor is very good, and it was a sweet story to top it all off.

My only complaint was that it was too short. lol. I do hope this isn't the last we're going to see of Ash and Christopher.

Wowzers... I really liked this. You have a certain way with symbolism that I am envious of. I also really like how you so seamlessly blended the character development with the story. I had a good picture of who these two were, and how they got to this point.

It was a little love-struck, and I have to say the cynic in me kept saying "That wouldn't really happen." But I loved it all just the same. Nice work.
