|Reviews for Sonnet IX|
| R. E. Ellison chapter 1 . 1/29/2010
Excellent form, content and execution!
Glad to see someone else uses a 500 year old poetic form - correctly! (I'm guilty of writing...a few...sonnets.) Gotta hand it to anyone who not only gets all the parts right, but does it with style.
Try a Wyatt-style poem: ABBA CDDC EFFE GG, (which is a variant of the Italian form) an Ottava Rima or if you're VERY daring try a sestina.
"Golden Prison" indeed!
