| A.Funeral.For.Edgar chapter 1 . 6/6/2010 Hmm. Good writing. But, no matter what 'spin' or 'take' you put on them, vampires will never be original. So don't bother with pretending they are; rather, except that they are not and move on with the story. And the title is incorrect. It should be "Keys: An Original Vampire Story." Even though I find this title highly oxymoronic. |

| November chapter 11 . 5/12/2010 Excellent! Had me gripped all the way to the 11th chapter. I very much look forward to the next installment. Had some minor niggles with the lack of... dialect, for lack of a better term. Shouldn't the Irish of the 1930s use some sort of speech? Would Gabriel really pick up Americanisms like "okay" so quickly? Seems that, based on his character, he would resist a bit against picking up on slang. Otherwise, really good pace and I loved the action. Excellent work! |
