Wow great story! I wuz attached 2 the ups and downs like a rollercoaster. I felt like I could empathize w/ Charlie and kno how she felt. This just shows how great of a writer u r. Cute ending 2!

I completely LOVE this story :) it is the most amazing thing I've read! I'm head over heels for Max :P seriously, what girl wouldn't want a Max of their own! I think its amazing that you wrote a story that didn't use those American 'junior,' 'senior' and 'college' words :) I actually got it! :P So yeah, all in all, an incredible story (I think I've read it about 3 times already) and I reckon you have an amazing talent! :)

I just LOVE it. Even though you probably don't care much about the reviews for this story since it's been over a year. I love it. I think Charlie and Max are perfect for each other. The good, and the bad. Even though the "idea" was somewhat cliche, the DETAILS were definitely not. I like how you put your own spin :). I'm starting to read one of your recent stories, but I must ask. Are all of these set in England?

that was amazing. the way you set up Max and Charlie's lives and how they intertwined was beautiful. i loved the fights, the damn drama of this, normally i am yuck this is sooo home and away but i totally got glued (haha also like home and away). you had me suckered into the plot, i really wanted to know where he skipped off too. it was not what i saw coming which is refreshing and exciting. your a wonderful writer but i am sure you probably heard that one once or twice before ;p anyway just thought i's tell you how much i loved it (loads and loads) and thank you so much for sharing. this is getting the fav button!

THAT WAS AMAZING. So amazing that the poor caps lock key must be abused in order to convey just how amazing it was. Also so amazing that I spent three hours reading it when I'm three thousand words behind on my NaNo. -smacks self-

I loved how much chemistry Max and Charlie had. You did a lot of telling on that point, but you didn't do it in place of showing, and I really felt their connection.

I liked that I didn't know Max's secrets before they were revealed. A lot of stories, both FP and published novels, are way too flippin' predictable when it comes to guys with dark pasts. This one was not. Huge kudos to you. That seems like it would be pretty difficult to pull off. (I just typed pretty as "rpetty", and was reminded oddly of someone wearing their underwear outside of their pants. Does that even make sense? It's midnight and I'm tired, so if it doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised.)

I enjoyed how much humor it had, considering its main plot. I laughed many times while reading it, and that's ALWAYS a plus in my book. My books, actually. I rarely think of books as anything other than lost causes when I fail to laugh at least once while reading it. Sometimes I think of those ones as lost causes too; I've laughed /at/ books before as well.

Anyway, as I said, it's late and I should go to bed, preferably before I begin prattling, because that can go on for a very long time.

They are crazy. Your characters are so ingeniously crazy, I'm not sure how to feel about it. I'm still halfway ticked that Max hurt her so much, and it's amazing how angry I felt right along with Charlie, especially since I can tell she's a bitch at the best of times, but she's really cool in her way, too, isn't she? I doubt I could have dealt with all that leaving the way she did, though, and I admire her so damn much.

And Max, shoot. They fit so well, and I hate and love him just the way you had the story going. I love reading your stories. Props for writing it during NaNoWrimo! I am MAD that I have stayed up on a school-day to read this (speaking of which, my issue was that I've become fond of high school stories more sweet than sexy, and this might have been almost a little too much for high school, if you know what I mean, but ah well, can't argue with your writing.)

Hmm.. I'm also still a little iffy on Max's whole reasoning at the end for keeping things from Charlie, and is that what let them finally be together? That he finally told her? My brain kind of throbs when I try to think on it, but it almost felt anticlimactic. I'm also halfway to fainting from sleep deprivation, so perhaps, I should sleep before attempting to make sense of complicated concepts.

so I know you finished this story a long time ago, but I've just now discovered fiction press and your stories are some of the first I've read here, with this one being my absolute favorite! your characters are so wonderful, I feel like they're old friends. i laughed, cried, got annoyed, felt their pain...you truly have a talent and I can't wait to read more from you!
