Reviews for Wanted By You |

![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed your description of the sheriff - quite a character, that one. I feel bad for Riley, being a disappointment to her father and not properly appreciated for her strong character. Oh, isn't it typical that the "best man you were ever going to get" was the man who tried to strike her? Ugh. And how I love that the man defending her was a wanted criminal. Biting my nails now in anticipation of what's to come : ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() ooh, a cowboy hidden in the closet : ) I really like the relationship between the sisters. I wonder what the sheriff will say... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the intro to this - the first paragraph had me thinking about Jane Austen and her humour. "She stared at him for a long moment before dropping her eyes back down to her book, hating when people disturbed her for no reason, especially when she was at the climax of the book. Well, he was a man, after all, and it was rare to find a red blooded male who actually appreciated a good novel especially since novels were a trivial thing." - ok, I love Riley! : ) A very intense first chapter, with tons of questions raised. Looking forward to reading on : ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm working my way through your stories and simply loving them all! Can't wait to read more! |

![]() ![]() ![]() OR not... |
![]() ![]() I absolutely loved this story! I have to admit at first I was hesitate because I'm not into Westerner stories, but I could not get enough of this story! I fell in love with the characters and loved Riley going against what society said women should be like and act like and Clint- I love the bad boy image and him turning soft...I'll have to read more of your stories now... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Omg! I love this story! Your stories are alway so good! And I'm not even into westerns, until now :D great job! |
![]() ![]() Lovely, lovely, lovely! Can you tell that I adored this? Clint and Riley are so cute. I've read four or five of your stories, and there has been one thing that has bothered me about them (and only one – I love your writing!): your use of the word "enigmatic". You use it in so many different contexts that I'm not quite sure that you use it correctly all the time – for example, saying that someone is speaking in an "enigmatic tone" makes sense according to the dictionary definition if you're using it to mean "mysterious", but I've never heard it used in real life in that context. But that's just semantics. What really bugs me is that you use "enigmatic" so OFTEN. I didn't mention it in the past because it wasn't that bad, but you used it a grand total of ten times in this story alone (and I may have missed some). It wouldn't be that bad if it was any other word, but you don't hear "enigmatic" in everyday conversation so it definitely sticks out. Otherwise, you've spun out yet another job well done! Maybe an epilogue is in order? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I absolutely adore this story. It's amazing, and right now, after just reading it... Well, I'm not sure I'm capable of being coherent. You may be receiving a more precise review after your fantastic tale has had time to sink in. So many ups and downs, and I'm not sure how you did it, but it's all to emotional and wonderful. I've been looking for a good western story for a long, long time now, and I FINALLY found it! Thank you. In fact, you have a lot of good stories, I'll have to read more of them. The ones I've ready have all been very inspiring (the one with the bodyguard/husband comes to mind, Stumble, I believe was the title...) You're an astounding writer, and I know there's certainly a lot I can learn from you. |
