I can see sort of what you're trying to say, but it's all very abstract and you never really say what specifically bothers you, though I have my own ideas and could probably guess yours. I think this work would just be confusing to someone who doesn't already have a problem with America's version of "love." I'd suggest expanding it? Good start, though! Keep writing!
