Just finished reading this story. So I know it's been awhile since you last updated, but I'm hoping this review encourages you to resume this. This is one of the few LGBT stories I've ever read that actually deals with the conflict between sexuality and conservative religion in a realistic and heart breaking way. I think many readers can relate.

I'm hoping we'll find out what happens to Doson and Remy. But regardless, thank you for writing this. I greatly enjoyed it.

I'm really sorry about your friend... I hope you can make it trough it. Believe me I know how it feels. My best friend almost died. She was in coma for weeks... She tried to commit suicide. At the moment she is in mental hospital... So really... Just try to make it triugh? K?

I really like your story-and alot of your writing actually. I love how you put in the angsty details of the church stuff in this story. I've never really been to church and therefore I don't understand a lot of their customs which gives me room to wonder about religion and ponder why they see things as wrong, if you know what I mean.

Great story! I feel all angsty reading the church-scenes though, haha. I guess I was pretty religious until I was a teenager, then I just stopped. Nothing really happen, but I still feel really ill-at-ease with religion, lol. The story of my life. But I kinda like the way I feel anxious while reading, though, if you understand what I mean? Totally uncalled for. xD

But yeah, I love the story, it's well-written, and I really like Doson. I can't wait to read more! You're doing a great job. Please keep it up~

Poor Doson, life seems to not be going well for him at the moment. After this chapter I'm not sure if Remy likes him or not, though I'm hoping he does.

You've really done a great job at making Doson a sympathetic character. From the perspective of Alison he probably is coming across as a jerk, but given what we as readers know about what's going on with him, his behavior becomes much more understandable. In any case I continue to like this story, it's an interesting topic that does not get covered enough in my opinion, and I think you're doing a great job with it. I look forward to an update.

Aw, poor Doson. My theory is that Remy likes Doson, and he also thinks it's wrong and is hoping that (by ignoring Doson) it will go away. Please update soon!

so far so good, i'm understanding doson's character and how he feels. i think maybe because the first two chapters have been from doson's POV you could do the next couple from Remy's, just to show if the attraction is mutual and how he feels being the preacher's son and all. overall it's goin at a good pace. keep writing!
