Can I say simply - LOVE.

For some reason the style makes me think a little of "Catcher in the Rye." I love the way Katie seems to have the upperhand in this exchange. I wish there were a little more reference to the amount of time that passes between sections (chapters?). Funny that he falls for her after that one moment in the elevator, but don't we all do those funny things?
