Did Roxanne just touch Mod and nothing happened?

I really like this story... but honestly, I would like to know more about how the world is... what happened to humans, are they all slaves now?
Also, I don't think Roxanne's behavior is completely normal... shouldn't she want to go back to her life as it was before being kidnapped? Shouldn't she try to find out everything that she missed? She seems so chill and accepting of her situation and the people around her...

I know it's been years since you last updated but if you ever come back I hope you see this and improve your story...

I like the story so far, some things are a bit sudden for my taste but the mystery keeps me reading.

I am definitely on team Mod right now. Leo is such a jerk, and he still makes Roxi call him master. I think if he really cared for her, he wouldn't be such a creep to her (buying her lingerie, watching her when she baths, etc) Mod definitely cares for her, even though he doesn't really know her yet. He avoids her because he cares for her. That's sweet. But i'm curious... Is Mod a vampire too? Or is he a werewolf? Maybe a demon?

I like the twist-the fact that vampires and werewolves appear to not be enemies. Melissa seems interesting, but bloodsucker? Referring to Mod and Leonardo?
