Reviews for Opinions on Death
CaveDwellers chapter 1 . 4/13/2010
We seem to have fallen out of touch. I'm not sure if it's because I failed to answer a PM or not. How have you been? I've been good, just busy.

This is really interesting, since I don't read much poetry. Because I don't, the more olde english it gets the more I sit there scratching my head. I liked that you would have the quotes, and then the translations (though I'm sure that was required, to some degree). Especially the translation at the end: layman's terms are indispensable, no?

Tongue-in-cheek. I love that expression-it's emotion and imagery all at once!

Death is such a controversial subject, I think. It's bad, it's good, it doesn't matter, it makes all the difference-I'm not sure what I feel about it, to be honest. For the most part I think it's because my subconscious is going around saying "Nah, I won't die young. I don't have to worry about what I think of death just yet" so I just... never come to a conclusion on the subject.

The two poems made for an interesting contrast, to be sure.

'Til next,
