This story is amazing, I'm completely hooked. I think it's funny you get a little kill happy with the characters, but that makes it exciting! Please update ASAP, i'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter! :)

Loved the chapter - I'm glad she finally told everyone but I'd hoped James would be perceptive enough to realise that she wouldn't hide something like that from him by choice.

A few times during the chapter you used the wrong there or their - but apart from that everything was good.

I can't wait to read more, please update asap

agree with eve about richard - he's annoying. didn't like josh but his death is annoying cos now there is moral issues to deal with as well. if he was alive she would't hesitate t pass the blame. just because someone is dead does not automatically make them a good person, and josh wasn't so eve should just say what happened. liked the child's reaction - very mature

Oh man you're right this was a HUGE chunk of time, but I'm glad you skipped ahead. It makes it that much more painful for Jake to find out what they did...well what Josh forced them to do. I just hope it works out. I know its going to be all angsty, but I'm still all for them being together.

I liked that we kind of got to see the old side of Josh again. He was actually compassionate and...::gasp::...has he grown up some? Yes, I think he has. He realized his mistakes, and hopefully, keeping my fingers crossed, he's actually going to fess up to his stupidity.

Just a little note to let you know I have thoroughly enjoyed reading "Wayward Home." And, I can't wait for the next update. Please don't make me/us wait too long.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find something decent to read? Although some of the stories have decent plots and characterizations, they usually have so many spelling and grammatical errors that it's too much of a distraction. And then there are the ones that are given up on or forgotten. If I had the talent to put my ideas down on paper or in type, then I would probably have a couple dozen stories out there. But alas, that's not going to ahppen any time soon. So, I have to rely on writers such as yourself. So please continue to let your creative juices flow.

it took him 4 years to admit that he was wrong - it's probably going to take even longer I can just picture him being in an accident while he's away. And what's with the stepfather? he doesn't seem to really have a role right now except to sound menacing every few chapters or so

She was so used to the way Richard treated her and paralyzed by fear of what he might do that she reverted back to her earlier state. Ugh...you were so right, I now officially hate Josh.
