Sports haven't ever particularly interested me - baseball least of all, but the way you've tied them into this story has worked well! You've also done a masterful job at developing your characters with this story, and the pacing of it is spot on, too. I'm not sure if I've reviewed this story yet, but let me just say I love it and I always look forward to your updates.I'm still torn between chace and Tim. I think that maybe just maybe if he can pull his head out of his ass Tim and Liz could work out. But then again chace is such an all around sweetie but he recognizes that he's married to his career right now so at least he's not giving her false then again Liz seems like she can handle that kind of relationship... *sigh* I'll just have to see where you end up taking this one. |

| Kajal chapter 11 . 7/7/2010 So I let out a bit of a disappointed sigh when I realized I was on the 11th, and therefore last, chapter for now. I really love your writing. I always appreciate it when subtle but very real hints are given throughout a story so plot developments don't just come out of left field and seem hard to believe or unplanned. I'm not at all saying that the story is predictable, but that you're writing it well; in a way where it's obvious you know what you're doing and have penned out the story more than just a chapter in advance. Therefore, we the readers can really see why things are happening the way they are. That, I think, is the sign of a good writer. And right about now, I wish I was one too so I'd be able to explain what I just said better, haha. About the story itself, I can't really complain. For some reason, I was never on team Tim. I was totally ready to rule out Chase (and super disappointed about it) until the end of this chapter. I guess, too much negative stuff has happened with Tim in such a short amount of time that a part of me is able to hold onto the hope that he wont be endgame for her... but I know that's wishful thinking on my part and that he obviously means a lot to her if he's been able to hurt her so much in that short span of time. And even though I should know by now that things never go my way in these stories, I'm hoping for friendship to give way to someone more between Chase and Liz in the future. Also, I'm totally crushing on Matt and Ashley (even though I'm completely against cheating) and I hope to see more of them soon! PS- Sorry for this huge rant! |
