Reviews for Haiku 2
Alix Cohen chapter 20 . 10/22/2010
Your dusks are very

pretty, unlike in Pittsburgh,

where they are just dark.

We get beautiful

sunsets, but they're gone so fast

I just get pictures

And it's kind of cold

here already-must ask: where

did October go?
Alix Cohen chapter 19 . 10/20/2010
I've noticed that you

rarely punctuate verses;

can you tell me why?

It feels breathless, like

reading A Farewell to Arms

I say this in Ernest ;)

I do, however,

love your imagery. To

where did you travel?
Alix Cohen chapter 18 . 10/9/2010
A whole themed chapter?

That seems somewhat ambitious

But you pulled it off :)

From here I can see

Beauty in the desert night

All I say is: wow.

That emoticon

Does it count as syllables?

I really hope not...;)

So nice that it's warm

In October where you live

Here it's rather chill

Today the high is

Seventy-five degrees, and

they call it Heat Wave.
nickyO chapter 17 . 9/13/2010
My fav out of this set is "scientific names"

I love it when people can laugh at themselve. Good work. :)
Alix Cohen chapter 17 . 9/11/2010
I don't know Latin-

what animal or plant are

you cutting in half?

Yes, you're showing off...

but who do you think will read

of harm to critters?

This comes at a time

when I have a lot of stress

Thank you for writing.
Alix Cohen chapter 16 . 8/18/2010
Your insect verses

(katydids drink coffee now?)

have fun images.

Good to see you here:

I just moved into my dorm;

I'm a bit lonely.
nickyO chapter 15 . 8/17/2010
I love the "lone grape" poem, again you capture small moments with grace and humor.
Alix Cohen chapter 15 . 8/13/2010
I must disagree:

writing is a sacred art,

but games can be played.

I am revising

(and it's a labor of love)

My Crescent Moon tale.

Tarantula and

Frightened scorpion; what is

It with you and bugs? XD
Alix Cohen chapter 14 . 8/8/2010
Where do you live that

The nights are so short, or do

You just stay up late?

Sad songs are the best-

I often find myself with

Barry Manilow.
Alix Cohen chapter 11 . 8/6/2010
Cat did not wake you?

Rather 'twas the baby birds

who nest upon the porch.
Alix Cohen chapter 10 . 8/6/2010
Evil-laugh poem

Makes me laugh again as well

Evil Is Sexy

I have to agree

that haiku's addictive, to

speak as well as write.
Alix Cohen chapter 7 . 8/6/2010
Cat says "let's to bed"

But tomorrow, will she say

"Up! It's 3 A.M!"?

Your desert creatures

make me laugh, but the funni-

est is the tourist.
Alix Cohen chapter 5 . 8/6/2010
"Or so you tell us"-

you challenge philosophy!

I did laugh aloud.
Alix Cohen chapter 3 . 8/6/2010
What is this teenage

Angsty tale of one hundred

And forty pages?

I enjoy haiku

As long as it does not be-

Come far too cryptic.
Alix Cohen chapter 1 . 8/6/2010
I like your summer

poems, but why do you hate

Eating zucchini?

Yes, it is a strange

vegetable, but it tastes

Good with garlic salt.

The iced-tea poem

Is my favorite on this page-

I find it funny.
