I loved the chapter. I loved getting more insight into Nik. I am excited to see where you are taking this. I am guessing he is trying to make her lonely so she goes to him, so he doesn't have to keep initiating any kind of romance. I also think he is trying to make her feel how he did when she left. Though I don't think he will leave, because he has the pack and it was paiinful for him. I just think he wants her to get a taste of it. I am so excited to see where you are taking this and how she will react to this new tactic.

AHHHHHHH, such an almost cliffhanger! This kinda felt like a transition chapter, kind of marking the time when Albany finally decides to "try" to forgive Nik. And it kind of makes Nik's character more round because it's not like he suddenly became Mr. Nice Guy overnight... he's actively trying to change for the better

I wasn't expecting this, I will not lie. I thought that the 'real' Nik was all wolfy and manly and rapist and stuff. Or is it the one in this chapter that's real?

And I get that he raped her, but why does she keep bringing it up? She uses it as a weapon to the point that it's lost its point.

Is he trying to teach her a lesson? Let her know how it feels to love someone or care... while they ignore your efforts? I likey so update quickly!

Your stories are seriously THE best stories on fiction-press. I'm not exaggerating really. I could read them over and over again without getting bored. I'm seriously thankful there is such talent like yours.

- For this chapter, I really like the inner turmoil that is happening inside of Albany, she doesn't want to forgive him but she can't help it. Nik is also opening up to her and starting to show that he's not all crazy animal. I'm so excited to see what will happen next in their relationship. Waiting for your next update.

Complications.

Family relations? Who knows. It could be that he wasn't realizing that she would say something like "You were cute" when she learned her brother died... or he has to go to his brother's funeral?

Maybe ignoring her on purpose so she'll understand what he'd been through? Wolves generally treat mates with so much care it's hard to say.

Oh Nik, he's such a complicated character but I love him. Pack business... hmm... I wonder if that's true or if he just wants her to feel the way he felt when she ignored him. Or maybe it's something family related? Curious. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. Part of me wants her to forgive him because he seems like he's trying and it's part of his nature, but it is difficult. I'm hopeful things will work out though. ;) Update soon!

Definately think you should make a story for ben or even just a side story. He should get a human mate. It would be some maaajor poetic justic.

You should really spell out "you" instead of just putting "u". It really takes away from the story. Not trying to be mean or anything, it just bugs me. Not that I'm the Queen of Grammar or anything. Whatever...

I feel very bad for Albany. It really isnt her fault that guys in her past

have made her so traumatized. They're some moments when i just want to kick Nik and others where i want to hug the poor guy. Hopefully he gets a clue soon, for both their sakes.

I am so torn! Part of me says "don't forgive him, he raped you and that is unacceptable" and the other part of me says "it was in his nature to be aggressive and he regrets it, so move on" - I know I shouldn't want Albany to forgive him but I kind of want her to. Nik is going to need to do some serious grovelling/explaining/opening up and Albany is going to have to let him in so that they can move past this - if they even can.

Really enjoying this story - so great that you are updating so quickly!

I can't quite guess the specific reason behind why but I guess anyone who continually tries but fails would act frustrated like Nik does. I guess the brother thing didn't help either.. perhaps it's the anniversary of his death or something? That's pretty much all that I can think of. Ahh cannot wait to find out though! Update quickly :)
