Reviews for The Dethroning
Elber of Torou chapter 6 . 5/29/2010
This was a brilliant read. The descriptions of the magical duels were very well executed, worthy and better than Spielberg could have done. The depth of the plot in such a comparatively small story is amazing, and I like the Faustian ending. The system of magic is interesting, and piquant.

The best thing about this, I suppose, is that you hint at so much beyond the walls of the anteroom and throne room without giving anything away. Your words are well-crafted, well-shaped and well-delivered.

The only thing detracting from this absolute gem are a few misplaced words, such as 'wear' instead of 'where', and 'head' instead of 'heard'. Apart from this, this is truly an amazingly-written story.
