I appreciate how well you craft the drama with humor- you balance it all so well nothing seems out of place. I.e. how Jena's grandfather nearly dies and how Jena acts about it, neither too much or too little. She's really shaping out to be a awesome heroine- neither too strong or too weak, funny and sarcastic but still human and with dimension. :D

The whole blood bond was excellently described- the pain that Jena undergoes feels realistic and right on the mark...I dislike when other writers sugarcoat something like that and instead go for something less gritty and more 'pretty'. And gosh, I think I fangirled when Lazarus asked Jena for "everything". (squeal)

Wow, this story was so fantastic I read all seven chapters in one go and I came back around to review each one of them as they so rightly deserve ;D! It feels like forever since I've read an excellent dragon/mate/bond story- it's hardly as popular as other pairings (aka. vamps or werewolves), so having stumbled across your story is such a rare treat. It really is turning out be one gem of a story _. For the first chapter, I thought you introduced everyone well- for me the definite highlights were definitely when Jena screamed belatedly upon Dexter's arrival, her first thought of Xavier with heterochromia (haha!), and Lazarus' appearance and willingness to bond with Jena (can you so WH-OA!). Such an intriguing start! :D

Gah, I completely understand why Jena is frustrated I want answers too!

I understand that the bond they share is more that just a simple contract. That Lazarus is an important/ powerful person in this realm.

That the weird thingy on her shoulder means something - a symbol of their connection maybe? And I am certain that there are things that Lazarus, Charles and Xavier are hiding from Jena, that much is obvious.

The only remedy I see for this problem is that we see more chapters of BC! Update! Update! I can't wait to see what happens next!

A great chapter as usual. I really like the bit about all the different languages, a very good move in fantasy writing that few have the time, or make the effort, to take.

Though my favorite part is by far the cliffhanger you've left us with at the end. I found myself desperately staring at the chapter list as if expecting chapter 8 to magically appear.

Wow! Your writing's great! I'm sure that you've probably heard this before, but I thought that another person saying that would be appreciated :) This story is really creative and fresh, and from a bookworm...that's great! Anyways, you still have a few typos running around inside each chapter...I don't know if you have a beta or editor-like person or whatnot, but for me, if the typos were gone, this story would be a lot better (careless little errors can detract from the story as whole because people - in their heads - will correct the grammar. At least, I do!). If you need someone to be your Grammar Nazi, I think that I have the time. PM/email me if you're interested, I suppose... But yeah, anyways, keep up the great work! no comment on the content because it's great!
