Also, caught another thing: meant to say Chase's first return to Texas (befor he left for NY for 2 months), for obviously the cheating cow had already been seeing the second woman before his second return.

I cannot believe that I've missed this story in all the years reading FictionPress. I hope you will resume writing it, or at least update the status if you have published it elsewhere...really hoping that you will do so on iTunes or Amazon.

Now. The story. At first I wasn't too keen on Eve - she seemed a little too full of herself, and it was quite jarring to have such a sweet teenager in the Prologue turn into the mega bitch of Ch 1. But as the story progressed Eve grew on me, especially with all the tantalising glimpses of her backstory. Chase certainly did a classy break-up (not) - how could he go from sleeping with her 2 months ago to breaking up? Surely he must've found that certain someone in New York before his second return - the Jerk. Anyway, that explains the First Love heartbreak. But then you left us readers worrying about what she did with the baby. (Heartbreak #2, I guess)

Then I also wonder why Eve gets attracted to preppy types (Chase and Ty), instead of the smexy Delgado? Is she a softie for men who appear to be sensitive ie great listeners? But of course, we have the dramatic irony of knowing that Ty is not such a reliable character and is actually quite weak in comparison to Eve.

Miguel is another intriguing one. What happened to his boy and ex-wife (or is it 'late' wife)?

And of course there is the main murder-mystery plot of whether Senator Riggins is truly innocent or not, and what the heck is really going on.

So I pray that you intend to continue this super story. If you publish it as an e-book, please update your author status.

I just started reading this story over the weekend and wanted to tell you that it's pretty entertaining and interesting. It has the action/thriller vibe that gives us that something different for a romance. I like it and hope that you continue updating and don't give up on it. It kinda reminds me a bit about Janet Evanovich's Stepahnie Plum series but with lots of less comedy haha. I really am looking forward to the rest, especially her finding out about Ty and I also want to know what happened with her pregnancy, and of course what will happen with Delgado. Thanks for this!
