Wow just marvellous. The concept is brilliant. And even though it's abstract, you manage to do it so beautifully. Although I did find myself questions regarding how she steals time. And how that man managed to cure her cancer.
Like does she switch places with the person she's stealing time from and how does it affect that person.
And what does he exactly do? Stretch life spans?

I love your use of language and the unique take on stealing moments. Really beautiful ideas and story :) I was mildly annoyed with William calling her such a girl but I think that was the gentlemen inflection of being in character as he does come across as someone not quite from this time period so it does fit the story :)
