Wow, I couldn't love this more. Its realistic and Sara seems like a person who you automatically like. Cliffhangers are hard to pass and you defiantly pulled this off. Can't wait to read more and find out who 'he' is.

Great start - love the cliffhanger. I'll be looking forward for more of this.

One thing I noticed... "I felt its fang racked across my ankle and I felt a painful crack." Should this be "raked"? Try to let the chapter sit a few days and then go back and edit before posting - you'll catch things like this, or awkward wording, or... whatever. You'll be amazed what a fresh eye can do for a chapter. :)
