Great stories!

There's just one thing i'd suggest. You said she was born in the 1600s right? She would probably talk differently if she was. Everything else made sense, it's just the dialects of the characters. I don't remember which one is Irish or something, but you might want to write her speaking with an Irish accent.

I only saw 2 things wrong with this.

1) you kept switching between alligator an crocodile

2) why would Ammit attack? the jewel wasn't even stolen

HOLY CRAP. This was a freaking awesome chapter. Mainly loved Big Eddie there. Ophelia was awesome to see in action, as well as villains. Strangely enough, I was listening to some metal before reading this.

Vampires are always fun. The characters are fun to read, as always, and Maeve is a pleasure to read. Looking forward to more adventures of the crones. The gator was also a fun addition.

Haha! Now this is pulpification. I really thought that Professor Murray would have hidden powers. But still, I couldn't stop laughing. And 'Mark my words, foolish mortal! You will receive a notice of formal complaint!' can I quote that?

This was a darn fun chapter. I liked each of the crones going for items, and Ophelia and the Sewer Trolls were awesome. Especially the Muckfather. You described a mobile patch of New Jersey quite well there. I am really liking this series.

I have to say, Dorcus is a character unlike any you've done so far. And Clancy is a kid I actually did like, given his background. I liked all of your hags, and hope to read more of them!

I LOVE this! I LOVE Greta. It's awesome, it's funny, it's original. Absolutely love it.

hahaa! This has got to be one of my favorite stories of yours to date! Although your portrayal of NYC seems a little off, it isn't too bad for someone from the other side of the country. The crones are just fabulous though and I loved the slightly snarky tone throughout. Really entertaining and pretty darn original.
