Reviews for A Different Kind of Love
ByYourSide chapter 1 . 7/14/2010
I love that you're from Canada. I love Canada. SO much great stuff comes out of Canada, like Degrassi and Justin Bieber. My friend just went up there. That's random, but I've been seeing a lot of Canada stuff lately and got uber excited when I saw that you were from there. Bonus points for you!

The fact that this is set in Canada makes this very different, too. I like that. :)

"Tears filled her eyes, but they somehow never overflew."

Do you mean "overflowed"? Tears don't usually fly.

"She tried to push his legs off, but it was too heavy."

Do you mean THEY were too heavy? They being his legs, plural-instead of "it."

I love the line in the last paragraph. A sweet memory is the best sleeping pill. You've got a really creative, sweet and interesting concept for this story! I like it. It's awful that she has a tumor and feels like she can't tell anyone right now, but it makes for a good story, and Austin has perfect timing. It's romantic and intriguing already. :) A great opening chapter, leaves the reader wanting more.
