Reviews for I have found all the colors
M. Soames chapter 1 . 7/18/2010
A poem about humanity and meaning in the world that I thoroughly enjoyed. Colors are tricky things in poetry; too often, otherwise fine amateur writers specify colors in order to add an element of symbolism. Leaving it vague as you have, merely writing "colors" as you did in l. 3 evokes the full spectrum, fitting for a poem as nature-centric ("tree" ll. 1 and 9, "universe" l. 4) as this one. I can only fault you for trying to count all the shades and tones in your metaphysical rainbow, but even here you succeed, creating a sense of wonder - that charming human inadequacy , our urge to quantify nature.

And all that, you accomplished in only 35 words! Not too shabby.
