Reviews for Isolde of the Rocks
Isca chapter 1 . 7/19/2010
"To make Ireland wail with her." Powerful. Moving.

"Facet of falsettos." Clever alliteration.

"The callow horizon." Unique word choice.

"Ghost-faces and grandeur." Lovely!

"Every time the wind pulls your hair across your ear, it's her own fingers playfully searching." This is my favourite part of the poem-it almost made me weep! :)

"not knowing which color the sails of the ships will be" is my favourite line in this poem. And I also like the idea of her making a soft sound to make Ireland wail with her.
