But pretty fantastic chapter! Although with his fang ripped out like that, I would have supposed that Roger would have a hard time talking at all. He's really good at taking pain, then. I would have been screaming for an ice cream cone :/

Wow. This chapter is a big one, isn't it?

I completely forgot that Calypso was even aboard for the first half of this chapter. It's a bit odd that she didn't even cross Em's mind in that time either.

It was interesting the way you followed the progress of the storm using its height across the horizon. It makes perfect sense, and it made it very easy to imagine the storm's growing size as it approaches. Cool idea.

I like how you mention the fang in the first part of the chapter and then return to it when Roger offers it as his sacrifice. Calypso seems to believe that it is important Em is aware of their dealings, but if it just a matter of a pulled tooth and apparently a fair amount of blood... ah.

Anyway, this ought to be exciting. A full-on duel between two gods. I don't think we've quite had the opportunity to glimpse something of this magnitude so far... I like that scene a lot.

Oh no! Roger can't stay... stubborn lout. Yes, Em has convinced him to leave. Nice tension in that moment, though. I was a little worried there for a second.

And now that I've reached the end, I'm very worried. You're going to leave us with that cliffhanger till March? Phew. That's bordering on cruel and unusual punishment. I'm three parts on the edge of my seat and one part confused, but I'm sure all will be revealed in time. It's odd that Calypso would send a title wave to them, but I wonder if there's something there like it was in the Atlantis-place...

Anyway, I can't wait to see what's going to happen! Update soon!

Whew! Took me a while to catch up with your lovely story. I've been pushing through classes as well and simply haven't had the time to read much. However, I'm glad I was able to make time and finish out all of the parts of this story that I have missed!

Roger better tell Em about the sacrifice. Time's running out, he can't keep putting it off. Loved his reaction to her and Calypso sharing a room. He was quick to stop that one, lol. The end was perfect and sweet. A moment for the two to just lay and be together. Kind of like the calm before the storm. ;) I hope something can be done for Kim, but things aren't looking good. Excellent work on this chapter. I hope things improve with your family. Update when you can.

Aw! I love this chapter. I really enjoyed reading the interactions with Calypso and the others. There was some great humor mixed in there with a very real sense of the emotion of the situation. Her voice comes across really well.

It's interesting to see Roger grappling with his feelings for once, instead of Em. And the tender moment at the end was really sweet. We rarely get to see that softer side to their romance, and it was wonderful. You've done a good job transitioning from one conflict to the next, and I'm a bit on edge about how this sacrifice deal will play out.

I'm very impressed by your productivity over the past few weeks, and I'm excited for the next chapter. Update soon!

Wow, that chapter was filled with drama. First off, it's nice to see Bilka is being given a chance to have a better life. I hope it stays that way. I love that Calypso has finally been discovered and rescued, although I'm worried about the aftermath and Kim's condition. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Very exciting, I enjoyed the action/stealth Roger at the end. Nicely done. Definitely didn't want to take my eyes away from the page, it was a thrilling chapter. Great work!
