So ... I got into your series a few weeks ago ... because I was looking for a good pirate story, and honestly, you did nothing to disappoint ... the whole just feels like a professional book. The characters are so well developed, and the plot. Your grammar and vocabulary, simply flawless. I been meaning to mention, Annalyn, one of my favorite characters, of course, after Roger and Michael.

But, I'm so pissed off at you right now, yes you. You gotta update with Calypso restoring his memory back, like prompto. I feel like we're right back too the beginning with these two. And though I didn't get to the party where Em is announced pregnant, but gods, you're throwing that out there. Tsk tsk ... evil much?

To sum up my review, I just want to pay my respect to such an amazing writer as yourself. Truly, I wish to applaud you on the talent you have. You are, no doubt, the best writer I encountered on this site. Torturous that

Can I cry for Roger loosing his memories? I just like sobbed almost when Em was so upset and hurt and Roger so violent...I love the name Emelia and I presume thats named after her mother, Amelia. I love how shes like the Pirate Queen sort of by inheritance as well as a Land Queen, best of both worlds. BUT ROGER OH MY GODS. I live him so much I just love his character, I love how I love him yet he's not mr sappy like he cares in a different way. By pushing Em harder and his small smirks and roundabout complement things.

Was in Calypso, in a fit of jealousy, who returned Roger memory less to Em? I kind of think she'd like to see him happy, like he is with Em

I guessed she was pregnant from when she started throwing up. I find it interesting that the kid managed to survive all her fights and blood she pregnant during the ...invasion thing of Atlantis?
I'm just trying to think if she was shes damn lucky rogers blade didn't hit the kid...hmmmm.

I love that she will keep the child regardless of whose blood it inherits. I hope it takes after Em.

I'm a bit confused about the bastard child bit. If roger accepts the child, does that make the child eligible to be an heir? And if he doesn't then the child cannot inherit?

Also, when you said Em doesn't have regular cycles, do you mean they are irregular or she just doesn't get her period like at all? I'm aussuimg she's just irregular because she got pregnant.

I love that Em wont marry anybody else. ROGER GO ACCEPT THE KIDDY AND MARRY EM AND LOOOVE. Roger can be the Queens consort, but come and go, like he did before, just visit Em regularly...well in my idealistic head he can anyway.

I love Michael, HE HAS SUCH BAD TIMING! GODs, he needs to keep his mouth to himself ahahhahahaha the poor boy. I'd marry him, but I favour dark hair over blonds hehehe I hope louise runs into his arms and just kisses him,

Score for Em extracting revenge! I loved that fight scene. I love how roger called her foolish girl. Under normal circumstances that would almost have been a term of endearment...hehehe

I love this, I can't wait until late may, although my exams in May will keep me pretty occupied while I wait I suppose...also I am trying my hand at my own romance/adventure fic, hopefully including fantasy but I've gotta work out how to do that first without killing it! Hehe.

Poor Demitri, and yet... it feels like it couldn't play out any other way. Loved seeing Em and hearing about all her worries and fears, I was eager to see her display some vulnerability regarding her feelings. Couldn't have been done better. Now comes the waiting part, but at least I have something to look forward to in May. Take care!

Hm. What a sad, sad chapter. But I feel like it's appropriate that Demitri dies.

And then there is the matter of his will and what exactly he wishes to change. I'm curious to see what he decides and how/if it will affect Leo or perhaps Em's child...

Oh my God! That was amazing!

It's described with such detail, and I'm still so impressed with how thoroughly you've developed this sense of your world and the mechanisms that govern it. I remember how in the first novel, certain elements of your story reminded of other movies/books I'd seen/read, but you have come so far since that. It's fantastic.

The fight scene was perfect. The strategy seemed realistic, but even better was the way you wove the successes and the failures. The revelation about the banging, the way the dragon landed on the shelf... There were so many deaths, but you managed to make each man a hero. I loved the way you orchestrated this entire scene.

The end is sad and gratifying and everything. This is the kind of scene you find in a published novel, so kudos for that. I was just so caught up throughout this entire chapter... I was only half-way, not really paying attention to the grammar/phrasings. Really, great work.

I think you mean "with" instead of "by".

Good job describing Lawrence's rising panic. Very effective descriptions.

ohh the suspense! great climax and action in this chapter, though I can't wait for more Em.

That was awesome, and so well written! I felt like I was right there. I'm so glad you'll be able to fit another chapter in before your next hiatus, yay!

Battle of Epic Proportions! The dragon was swooping and scattering globs of oily tar-black blood everywhere, and I loved every bit of the battle! I've to admit it was a little confusing at first, with all the names and everyone in different positions, but re-reading helped :)
Of course, the bitter sweet feeling at the end when the dragon was vanquished, but at the cost of so many lives. I'm glad you kept it realistic - chaos, deaths, plans gone wrong, and the gas cloud that wouldn't light even after so many tries. I'm a little skeptical about the shout of the dragon that deflected the grenade (wouldn't that have deafened Demitri and Kevran, leaving them disoriented?), when a simple dodge would have sufficed. And I do wonder how they managed to survive so many rounds of fiery blasts in an enclosed cavern - the smoke could have killed them just as easily! I just imagine it's magic fire though that doesn't smoke though :D Perhaps the gas cloud acts differently from normal fuels.
