By far my favourite scene - Lawrence baiting the dragon. Filled with excitement, filled with anticipation, so much action! My only regret is that school took me too long to read this!

I normally never say this...but omiGAWD Yay! :D left us on a cliffy there but im always glad to read more on Demitri and the gang ;)

another great chapter and while i still miss roger and em, I think the blending of the two plot lines was done very nicely. cant wait for the next update :)

Leo's letter. Brilliant. It's bleak, sure, but the delivery is so dry it's actually funny. It sounds like Leo! What a great way to open the chapter! Also, I like seeing Demitri work through what is happening in Em's life. We don't usually have the opportunity for an outside perspective of her decisions and happenings.

Everything was else was your standard quality, good. I had a little bit of trouble focusing through the ceremony, but it was nice to slow down in this chapter. I presume you're just building toward this massive end-all showdown in the next chapter. Not something to miss!

So, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, and in the nicest, most pleading way, I'm asking for another, additional chapter before the end of your break (though I can't believe you don't begin till the 21st!)

This mystery of his is pretty engaging. Obviously we're taking a break from a pretty climactic moment in Em's story, but surprisingly, I'm not missing it! Dragons are just too cool.

Apparently in the past three weeks, my e-mail account decided that Fictionpress notifications were spam, so I had no idea that you had updated! I'm so far behind now!

I love this chapter. The pacing was superb, and I was really interested to see how you tackled the dragon mythology. I like your unique take on it, and I was excited to see that you were even beginning to try to explore the biological mechanisms that could produce fire!

The scene is horrifying. Your descriptions captured that, from the opening paragraphs (which read really well) to the way you went through the battle and the deaths. The emotions were strong... I just loved reading this chapter.

Demitri! He's one of my favorites, and I have this fear at the back of my mind that he's not going to make it. I'm glad I can move straight to the next chapter!

I've finally managed to catch up after not reading this story for at least two years if not more, I can say at least two because I came across this new years and last years new years lol.
So I'm not sure where to start so I'll just not start because if I do it would be realllllllllly long. And I still wouldn't get to everything I wanted to say.

I will say I would love another chapter before you start the spring semester on the 21st. I also am glad I picked this story up again, although I never closed the window and it's been eternally open in a tab on firefox even when I didn't read it for so long I knew I would come back. So know that your story stayed with me on my laptop for more than year if not two. I think that says a lot about how awesome a writer you are. Keep it in mind.

Well, new chapter or not, I'm still gonna review :)
And awwww haha I LOVED the dragon chapters. Demitri is seriously a great character. I could really feel the tension after the confession. My agent always says that if you can really make your reader feel an awkward moment or the like, hats off to you. That being said, I shall tip my imaginary hat to you! :):):)

Wow, great chapter! A great dragon fight without being too draggy, showing a sense of time with Demitri's notes gathered over past battles. I just can't figure how they keep tossing jewels around and how the dragon keeps going after those without seeming to find a place to stash it! Lot's of intriguing clues that I can't fathom yet (being a mystery lover, I love these. What can the gas breath and dim vision mean? It's torturous yet exciting to ponder over such things)

I could have sworn I reviewed this chapter. How odd. Well, so sorry it has taken me so long. I've had a busy couple of months. I was just rereading this chapter because I loved it, in fact I read the entire series over from the beginning just recently. This last one though, what an amazing job you did. It was so intense and... boy what a cliffhanger. I have no words for how excited I was with that turn of events. Now, the wait for the next chapter is going to kill me, but I can't wait. Until next time, keep writing and being awesome!
